RAY 30 is a cationic polymer that is used extensively in effluent waters to assist in the flocculating cleaning processes, but finds it's most effective area in the de oiling of oilfield waters, with or without the use of air inducing equipment, such as depurators.
Appearance: Colorless liquid
Specific Gravity at 20 Deg C: 1.00 to 1.02
Freezing Point: 0 Deg C
Pour point: 0 Deg C
The dosage level of RAY 30 depends on the application, but is usually in the 5 ppm range.
It is usually used as a flocculent aid with a primary flocculent or as a flocculent aid in induced air flotation systems. It is necessary to introduce RAY 30 into the system at a point where turbulence will adequately mix it with the oily water.
RAY 30 is packaged in US gallon plastic drums.
RAY 30 is not considered harmful, but it should be handled with care. Concentrated product may be irritating to skin and eyes and possible contact should be avoided by the use of rubber gloves and eye protection. It should not be taken internally and any, spillages are to be flushed with water.
